Safari Aitana: A Wild Journey in the Heart of Alicante
Located in the heart of the Sierra de Aitana, in the municipality of Penaguila, Safari Aitana is a unique experience in the Valencian Community. Founded in 1975, this natural park allows you to tour its facilities by car, in the style of an authentic African safari, and observe animals from five continents in semi-freedom.
What Can You See?
The park houses over 45 species of animals, including lions, tigers, wolves, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, zebras, ostriches and dromedaries.
How Does the Visit Work?
The experience is divided into two parts: a car tour following an itinerary on dirt roads, observing animals in semi-freedom; and a pedestrian area with smaller animals, a picnic area and a children's playground.
